Price: We guarantee to beat any price comparison you bring – ask around, you won’t get a lower price. The vasectomy costs a maximum of $500 but most patients pay less when they submit an insurance claim to their provider (see Payment & Insurance). The optional consultation fee of $100 and optional Pro-Nox fee of $150 are available to accommodate any additional care you need. We accept most insurance companies and most people with insurance pay significantly less out-of-pocket. We accept Medicaid patients.
Optional In-person Consultation: In-person consultation is now optional for most patients. Please review the detailed information on our website and watch the required consultation video below to prepare for your vasectomy. If you would prefer to have an in-person consultation after reviewing this information, we are happy to have you schedule one through our scheduling link below. If you choose to have an in-person consultation, you will have dedicated time to go over any further questions or concerns you may have in-person in our office with the provider of your choosing.
When is In-person consultation required? In-person consultation is still required for Medicaid patients and for men under 25 years old without any children. All other patients can save $100 by watching the consultation video below and scheduling your vasectomy using the “Schedule Here” link below.
How much pain should I expect? Please watch our consultation video below for details; however, most patients feel a 1-2 second pinch of pain while the lidocaine (numbing medication) is being administered using a MadaJet, which does not contain a needle. This feels like a flick with your finger or a rubber-band snap on your skin that lasts 1-2 seconds. Please watch our video below for more information on the MadaJet. If you want a completely pain free option, we offer Pro-Nox, which is an FDA approved analgesic gas administration system that patients report feels similar to “laughing gas.” Please continue reading for more information.
Welcome to stress free vasectomies
Most men do not need more than local anesthesia provided by a MadaJet to numb the area and be comfortable during the 15 minute procedure. There are many men who benefit from further assistance using Pro-Nox. These are usually men with chronic scrotal or testicular pain or men with anxiety who want more peace of mind during the procedure. Pro-Nox is for anyone who wants it but many men don’t need it. You must schedule an appointment AND complete the registration form. $100 scheduling fee is required due to frequency of patients not showing up to appointments.
Scheduling is a rolling 60 day limit. If you would like to schedule your vasectomy more than 60 days from now, please wait until you are less than 60 days from your desired date.
